El Valle has numerous other eco-attractions to lure visitors. These include a zoo, thermal mud baths, Orchid Center, numerous groomed hiking trails, waterfalls (for both sightseeing and swimming), a Serpent Center, 2 museums, horseback riding, and more. The renowned artists and farmers market acts as the town center. From the market, Butterfly Haven is the closest attraction and an easy walk.

For many reasons, El Valle Panama is a highly sought after tourist destination. As the second largest inhabited volcanic crater in the world, it is cradled 360 degrees in the surrounding beautiful mountains. This lends a spiritual aura.
